Why we do what we do.
When it comes to donations or charity, there is a saying that resonates with me. “I am a firm believer in not letting the left hand know what the right hand is doing. This phrase emphasizes the importance of giving in secret, without seeking recognition or praise for our acts of kindness.
For the past several years, my wife and I, along with other family members, have collected around $1000 during the Christmas season. This money has been dedicated to providing food for approximately 100 families. Initially, I felt that this effort. Was making a positive impact.
After spending several months in the Philippines, I realized that the food provided for the families only lasted for about three days, which made me reflect on the true impact of our actions. This realization led me to remember an interview with Mother Teresa of Calcutta, where she advised people to find their own "Calcutta" and make a difference in their own way
With this newfound perspective, We have decided to focus on feeding 100 families for an entire month at a time. We understand that achieving this goal can only be made possible through the generosity of those who visit this page. By sharing our mission and inviting others to contribute, we hope to gather the necessary resources to provide sustained support for these families in need.
